Born in Jamaica and raised in the United States, her collection reflects the roots of her culture and takes from the bold art and rural beauty of Jamaica’s shantytowns. She produces accessories with a unique balance of cultural and contemporary design, staying true to her own sleek yet creative interpretation with an edgy yet modern twist.

 

Graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Fashion Design, and after many years designing in the fashion industry, Nicole S. James is finally embarking on the accessory world, introducing statement-making pieces that embody and adorn the face. Her jewelry welcomes bold lines and expressive shapes with warm and cool metals and bright, effervescent fabrics that will evoke conversation.
