What sets me apart as a designer is not just my love for fashion—but my deep obsession with the “why” behind style. I see the world through a lens shaped by color, silhouette, and trend evolution, constantly analyzing the cultural and emotional forces that shape what we wear and why we wear it.
This lens informs every stage of my process—from early concept ideation to tech pack development, fabric and trim sourcing, and ultimately, production. I don’t just sketch ideas—I build entire design ecosystems grounded in strategy, storytelling, and functionality.
With a full understanding of the product lifecycle, I’m able to guide projects from concept through sampling, development, and final execution—aligning creative vision with operational clarity. This approach not only elevates the design process but sets me—and my team—up for long-term success.
Trend Ideation: Bomber Jacket x Nike Air Force 1
As a designer, the ability to identify key silhouettes and emerging style trends is essential to every creative toolkit. These concept ideation boards showcase a focused exploration of the classic bomber jacket—a staple silhouette that continues to evolve while staying rooted in its utilitarian heritage.
In this 2023 trend resurgence, the bomber returns not only as a nostalgic icon but as a canvas for modern reinterpretation. In my design process, I’ve paired this silhouette with inspiration drawn from another cultural mainstay: the Nike Air Force 1. As both muse and metaphor, the AF1 grounds this ideation work with its clean lines, bold shape, and timeless streetwear relevance.
To push the conversation forward, I also embraced the power of up-cycling, sewing and reconstructing an entirely new bomber jacket from this pre-worn classic bomber This process allowed me to introduce newness through sustainability, showcasing how circular design can be both inventive and essential in today’s creative landscape. These quick sketches and sewn concepts illustrate how classic forms like the bomber and AF1 can lead the way in a new era of design—where style meets intention, and sustainability is embedded in innovation.
